Illuminating the Careers of Disabled Lighting Designers

Doing some Research on Social justice in Theatre i came across this article about two disabled lighting Designers. they talk about the struggles and challenges they have to face working the the theate industry. with what they was saying Why can’t the industry adapt and Support more disabilities. as part of my inclusive Practice i looked at this issue. How we can adapt our Practices for those with disabilities. Here was a couple of quotes that found interesting from the article.

Due to the way that theatre is structured, it is more challenging for underrepresented young designers to learn, grow, and move up the proverbial career ladder.
