This was an interesting article that i read about diversity in lighting design. she was saying that there is a lack of interest in lighting.

“People still think we walk in, there’s some lights there and we point them at the stage. I don’t think they understand how much more it takes to design a show,” she said. i have seen this in the students that use the theatre. this was one of the reasons for my Research i would like all students from all backgrounds to get an inerest in lighting for their own shows then hopefully they would like to take it on as a career.
