MicroTeaching
My microteaching session was about lighting design this was only my second time that I had done this. So was a work in progress. The first time was with the students in person and had some practical elements included using a lighting rig that was perpended beforehand. As the microteaching was online this was a bit trickier and more made some changes that I didn’t really focus on. I asked very one to have a touch to hand so that we could look at angles of lights in a practical element. I did rush thought this a bit fast. Everyone in the feedback said that I should have done more on that element. The rest of the tutorial was on a presentation that I made before I broken it up into categories each of them having relevant information and pictures or GIFs to support what I was talking about. Another feedback was that I must add references to the photos as to what shows they are from and who lite that show. It would be good for the students as they can research other designer’s work. For me my biggest refection is not to get so nervous and that I rush thought the presentation and not give time for the students to take in the info in. also asking them if they are following if need to repeat anything more often.
